RACE 1

5-Independent One – Dropped back down & just missed with a gutsy effort before the judges scratch last week & now launches midpack with something solid to build on

6-My Alpha Rock N – Reeled off three in a row in March, while taking a mark of 1:51.3, makes his second start off a sick scratch & leads a 1-2 punch for his barn in this one

7-Ready To Rumble – Ships south fresh off a big rebound romp @ Mohawk after a claim for this price, sports a 1:51 mark there in 2020, challenging post & three-week layoff might not matter

RACE 2

7-Cashncam – Cranked it up with the addition of Lasix, fresh off another solid rally chasing the red-hot Preppy Art, might hold a slight edge despite the tougher post

1-Sossy’s King Kong – Makes the switch from claimers after getting taken again last week, just missed two starts back, draws inside a soft field & needs a big rebound mile

2-Stella’s Phella – 9YO riding a long losing skid, yet was raging along the cones to hit the board last week, finally draws inside to trip out in a field full of question marks

RACE 3

8-Imarocnrollegend N – Took a couple of months off & qualified nicely, second to FFA star Filibuster Hanover, now returns at the bottom level for Team Bongiorno

5-Love The Blues N – Sports a 1:50.3 mark @ The Big M in 2020, raced gamely first over from post ten first time Lasix, draws better & remains a threat with a smooth trip

4-Fabrice Hanover – Just one for his last 23, but moves inside off two needed starts for Team Burke, flashed even more late pace last out, back half in a sizzling :53.4

RACE 4

5-Somewhereinverona – Was a Grand Circuit quality 2YO, won his qualifier here with a sharp late burst, pace compromised in his Big M debut, back half in :54.3, has a chance to assert himself from midpack

7-Stonebridge Reef – Just missed to Somewhereinverona in his latest qualifier, finished well from an impossible spot in a much-need acclimating mile & leads the Chris Ryder 1-2 punch

8-Literl Lad Hanover – Breeders Crown & Matron finalist qualified with plenty of vigor, second to stablemate Southwind Gendry for Team Burke, tough post, but has talent, speed & upside

RACE 5

1-Captain Barbossa – The Jug Final was his only win as a 3YO, yet he just missed in his comeback qualifier here with pace at both ends & lands the rail in a strong field for Team Alagna

4-The Greek Freak – Runner up in the 2020 PASS Final developed into a Grand Circuit player for Team Burke, looks ready to roll from an inside post off a very energetic qualifier with Captain Barbossa

7-Dragon Roars Again – Hard-charging runner up in Mohawk’s Snowshoe Final, came right back with a solid second in an excellent acclimating mile, consistent 4YO has license to show more

RACE 6

3-Reign Of Honor – Fought off late pressure in an impressive 5YO debut on March 27, rebounded off a rare miscue with a strong second last week, classy & talented gelding draws better for Team Melander

8-Scirocco Rob – Came to win a fifth of a track record when he tripped out in 1:50.3 two starts back, rated & collared by the fresh Lindy The Great last week, beaten favorite remains the one to beat

6-Northern Express – Has been a major force in the Dover Downs Open, just missed to Scirocco Rob last out, hasn’t raced in 25 days, but note his keen stalking ability

RACE 7

2-Hundie N – Flashed plenty of late life in both starts here, back half in :54.3 last week, makes a key move inside to get aggressive for the potent combo of Brennan & Drennan

4-Paduka N – Steady horse-for-the-course shows up pretty much every week, gets some needed class & post relief & owns a vicious stretch kick

3-Harambe Deo – Beaten favorite in all three since coming back, enigmatic 1:48.3 performer here last season certainly capable of more from an improved post & leads the Team Cullipher 1-2 punch

RACE 8

1-Wingding Hanover – Was caught behind the gapping Rose Run Vantage & blocked in the stretch, well-driven upset & new lifetime mark before that, lands back inside for Tetrick & Team Cullipher

9-Gia’s Surreal – More than lived up to the tote hype with a first over crush & new lifetime mark in a sparkling Big M debut last week, tougher task here, but has something impressive to build on

10-Major Occasion A – 2020 Dorothy Haughton shocker stormed home to win her 2021 debut here last month, back from Mohawk off a couple of seconds to the razor sharp So Much More, prime contender despite post ten

RACE 9

4-Poseidon Seelster – Price Play two weeks ago rated the pace & gallantly held off the fierce challenge of Nicholas Beach, red-hot 4YO draws well for the dynamic duo of Brennan & Drennan

2-My Pal Joe – Very likeable 4YO with a sub 1:50 mark here this season, solid runner up to the raging Nicholas Beach last week & draws better second time Lasix

9-Splash Brother – Stakes player with a mark of 1:48.2 at three finished with a flurry to hit the board just behind My Pal Joe last week, difficult draw in a tough field, but capable of wicked speed

RACE 10

4-Yacht Seelster – The Yacht was stung early & outsprinted by a well-rated Ana Afreet N last time, got two weeks to regroup, has been very consistent & now draws better to be a prime stalking threat for a dangerous barn in a wide-open Preferred

9-Ana Afreet N – Was allowed to steal away & hold off Colossal Stride A two weeks in a row given brilliant drives by Tetrick, thriving back on the mile track for Team Cullipher & now faced with a post nine challenge

10-Sintra – Classy 2017 Graduate champ & Canadian Pacing Derby upsetter has dominated the Mohawk Preferred, ships into the Pelling barn, hasn’t raced in a month, lands outside, still deserves a long look

RACE 11

2-Thatswhatisaid – Last Saturday’s Price Play was dueled into submission, gaining traction since the late March sick scratch, drops another notch & lands post two again

5-Covered Bridge – Looked poised as the heavy favorite, got his own way & was nailed late by a longshot in 1:49.3, took two weeks off & now gets another shot at this reduced level for Team Burke

1-Decision Day – Stalwart horse-for-the-course drops back down to the level of a well-rated wire-to-wire win as the heavy favorite two starts back & moves inside

RACE 12

5-Unloaded N – Just one for his last 27 & winless in 11 starts this season, but been watching him intently as he’s picked it up in his last three, now drops & draws better & lands in prime spot

4-Ashley Locaz N – NZ import has taken a few starts to acclimate, off an inspiring second to the classy Blood Line @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, drops & draws inside

3-Good Rockin – Regained winning form & confidence with that two-hole trip & romp at the bottom level two starts back, now looking to rebound off a rare miscue from an improved post

RACE 13

2-Thunder Some Where – One for his last 28 & winless in 12 this season, 1:53.1 winner here in 2020 shifts from Yonkers & lands in a real soft spot

3-Watchmeneighneigh – Started to rev up his game in his last two GSY Series affairs, just missed with a big late move last week from the same post

1-Royal Courtier – Returns to the mile track where he was a much-improved runner up two starts back, reunited with Simon Allard & banks on a similar stalking trip
