NJRC Multi-Leg Pools: 

Pick 3: SCRATCH prior to running of the first leg shall be refunded. SCRATCH in the 2nd or 3rd legs a consolation payoff. NO WINNER entire pool will be paid to 2 of 3. DEAD HEAT payoff will be figured the same as place pool. 

Pick 4: SCRATCH shall be deemed a wager upon the wagering favorite at post time. NO WINNER 25% will be distributed, 75% will be carried over.  DEAD HEAT shall be distributed as a single price pool each receiving an equal share. 

Pick 6: SCRATCH shall be deemed a wager upon the wagering favorite at post time. NO WINNER 25% will be distributed, 75% will be carried over. DEAD HEAT all horses shall be considered as the winning horse for distribution. "NO RACE" three or more races shall be refunded and Super-six cancelled. 

Pick N: SCRATCH shall be deemed a wager upon the wagering favorite at post time. NO WINNER 25% will be distributed, 76% will be carried over. DEAD HEAT all horses shall be considered as the winning horse for distribution. "NO RACE" three or more races of Pick 4 or Pick 5 shall be refunded. "NO RACE" four or more races of a Pick 6 or Pick 7 shall be refunded. 

  

NJRC Rules Non-Jackpot Pentafecta: 

 $.10 min. wager; offered on the fifth and last race each night; 15% takeout rate; individual must select the first five (5) finishers in one race in the exact order of finish; In the event there is no ticket sold that correctly selects the first five finishers in exact order, the entire pentafecta pool, plus any previous carryover, will be carried in to the next programs designated pentafecta event. There is no consolation payout.  

  

Survivor Wager (Pick 7 wager): $.20 min. wager; 15% takeout rate; individual must correctly select the winner of each sequential leg in order to remain alive in the pool. If at any time there is only one ticket remaining which has correctly selected the winner in each leg contested to that point then the pool is at an end and that ticket is the winner regardless of whether the remaining legs result in winning selections. If at any time there are multiple tickets remaining which correctly selected the winner in each leg contested to that point but none of these correctly select the winner of the subsequent leg then the pool is at an end and those tickets are the winners regardless of whether the remaining legs result in winning selections. Each of these tickets shall be apportioned a payout. If all seven contests are completed and there are multiple tickets which correctly selected the winner in each leg then those tickets are the winners. Each of those tickets shall be apportioned a payout. The net Survivor pool shall be distributed as a single price pool to those who sequentially selected the first-place finisher in the greatest number of Survivor contests, based upon the official order of finish. All winning payouts shall be made after the conculsion of the 7th contest. If there are no winnings wagers, the pool is refunded. There is no carryover associated with this pool.
