Race 2

10-Hot Art – followed up a tough nose loss with another rousing second as the beaten favorite, rates highly in a wide open field despite post 10

4-Eight Ten EOM – was parked the mile from post 10 & had to settle for third, finally moves inside with a chance to steal this

5-Doc Telladay – no factor in his initial trip around the track, displayed :26.3 speed in the qualifier & hails from top notch connections

2-Legal Dream – improving Dream Away colt got involved in a fast pace & held on for third, builds on that from an inside post

Race 3

3-Four Starz Louie – had a bit of sneaky late pace last out, acclimated now & drops to the bottom rung

1-Rockstar Temper – just missed with a :26.4 three starts back, hits rock bottom & moves inside

4-Brandon’s Colt – only 1 for 19 this season, but shows a close second from post 10 back on June 2 & lands in a softer spot

5-Frog Juice – just 1 for 21 in 2012, consistently sitting last with little chance, but owns a wicked kick when right

Race 4

6-Market Share – beaten favorite in both finals of the NJSS & Goodtimes, no chance in the latter event, just okay third in the Yonkers Trot, time to step up before the big dance

5-Riccolo – Illinois sensation a perfect eight-for-eight at Balmoral Park, sold to Norwegian interests & now with Trond Smedshammer, looks for an ideal Hambletonian prep

7-Weingartner – Peter Haughton Memorial upsetter sidelined by a P-1 fracture, qualified handily Takter, who’s excited about his prospects, but time is running out

2-Gym Tan Laundry – take note of his solid effort to almost go all the way in the Goodtimes Final at 161-1, needed his last start after 28 days off & likely looks for another tune-up mile

1-Oscar Oscar – Oscar has shown up almost every Saturday night to the tune of 10 wins this season, drops off the sick scratch, tough to gauge

8-Grams Legacy – displayed his lethal late kick in his second try off the sick scratch, Takter 4yo has some upside

Race 8

8-Major Bombay – started to get in gear in NYSS before adding Lasix & an early miscue proved costly as the beaten favorite

7-Rockweiller – patiently handled to a runner-up spot behind a runaway Brent Montana, looks like a prime time player in here

2-Arts Ideal Hanover – bounced back with a speedy qualifier for Takter, lightly-raced gelding with some upside

Race 9

5-High Noon – was left with too much to do from post 8, last year’s NJSS champion & NJ Classic runner-up can crush these on his best day

6-Windfall Blue Chip – steamrolled out of there from post 9 & lacked any serious kick, this is an ideal spot where he can show his class, stalk n pop

2-Blue Claw – emerged from a shuffle with another small share, flashing pace at both ends, rates higher in this camera-shy field

7-Jin Dandy – thought he might be sitting on a big effort last week & lagged too far back, could be at the mercy of the pace again

8-Veal Marsala – takes on a claiming tag off a super first over second from post 10 for the red-hot Rene Allard

5-Art’s Jimmy Ray – got caught first over into a searing pace carved out by Da Vision Of Art & banks on that one faltering

Race 11

2-Blade Runner – flashed some signs of late life in an improved effort last time, ideally plays a stalking role again here

1-CR Fixed Asset – just 1 for his last 44, but hit the board in two of his last three & lands the pole again in a blank field
