10-St James Gate – Forced to make a wide rally in an eye-catching :27.3 & made it three-for-three here for the Burke Brigade, bumped up again & lands outside, yet we’re still figuring out how good he is
3-Smart As Hill – Muscle Hill 4YO with a pair of acclimating miles under him, now gets class & post relief, switches to the patience of Hall of Famer Dave Miller & eligible to pop with the right set up
RACE 2
3-Acting Out – Tripped out for the upset in his Big M debut, then caught too far back from post nine last week, moves inside for a barn hitting on all cylinders
8-Fox Valley Nemitz – Took a sharp 1:51.2 mark here back on 11-7, locked, shuffled & angled wide with late pace @ Harrah’s Philadelphia last out, won here from post nine on 11-28 & can take a lot of air
7-Haymitch – We nailed him when he settled for the win deadheat with a relentless rally two starts back & took a new mark in the process, returns to the mile track to set up another late move
RACE 3
6-Rollnthejoe – Added Lasix & flashed a :26.2 in a qualifier here, finished a solid third in his comeback @ The Big M, then got parked & broke in the slop @ Freehold, this lightly-raced 3YO lands in soft spot to surprise
1-Rogerthat Bluechip – Owns a 1:53.2 mark @ The Big M, a solid second in both starts off the bench, son of Captaintreacherous lands the rail in a highly beatable field
4-Rolling With Sam – No telling what happened in the fog from post eight, did finish third behind Rogerthat Bluechip, draws better, his November lines are worth a long look, yet his two for 28 record is a concern
RACE 4
3-Team Kiwi N – 1:51.4 winner here this season capitalized on an ideal second over trip to score as the heavy favorite two starts back, chased standout Alexa Skye last week & getting some class & post relief
5-Always Mindy – Has been forced to rally from some tough spots in both starts here, managed to hit the board last Friday, back half in :54.4 & now draws a bit better
9-Don’t Think Twice A – Her lone win here this season came against better back in mid-June, makes her second start off the bench from post nine again after closing in :26.3 chasing a monstrous Alexa Skye
RACE 5
4-Quick Fun N – Just one for 15 in 2020, but has come around in his last few, just missed out of a shuffle last out @ Harrah’s Philadelphia, drops into a soft spot here & draws well with Dexter Dunn
7-Sugartown – Team Burke acquisition this Fall had the misfortune of bumping into a 1:48.4 rocketship Ruthless Hanover in his comeback, that was three weeks ago, yet this is at least a 3-level class drop
5-He’s Electric – Only one for 19 this season, did flash sudden positive speed two starts back, then kicked home in an extra sharp :26.2 last time & could be on the verge in a wide-open field
RACE 6
7-Always And Again – Kicked home in a sharp :26.3 to save the show two starts back, then ran into a 1:48.4 hotshot in Ruthless Hanover, dangerous 3YO drops into a more likely spot
6-Put To Right – Suddenly went on a successful wire-to-wire mission from post ten, that was three weeks ago, now draws a bit better in a field in which at least half can be safely eliminated
5-Sailboat Hanover – Captaintreacherous colt switched to Team Burke this Fall, eligible to step up in his second start off the bench with a stalking trip from midpack
RACE 7
3-Boiling Oar – Has continued to be strong in the win column this season, clearly needed his first start here in the fog, now drops into a field of question marks & draws inside with speed for Team Cullipher
9-DA Delightful – Dropped n popped with a perfect drive & took a new mark of 1:49.4 two starts back, tougher draw back here, but returns to the winning level with gate speed in his arsenal
5-Blood Line – Classy 6YO has been freshened, won his qualifier here with plenty a few weeks ago, returns at a reduced level & owns dangerous speed
RACE 8
6-Callmequeenbee A – Toiled in the upper echelons @ Hoosier Park this Fall, picked up a check in her debut here chasing the standout Alexa Skye, needed the race, lands in an easier spot & draws a bit better
5-Stellenbosch – Bounced back with sudden speed, tripped out & romped to a new mark of 1:52 last Friday, 6YO mare with renewed life since the late October sick scratch steps up again, yet faces a vulnerable field
8-Birch Island Betty – Chased the far superior Caviart Ally in her lone start here, fresh off a solid second @ Yonkers, draws outside & hasn’t raced in 23 days, but could surprise with the right set up
RACE 9
2-Joey – Unleashed an impressive upset & cruised to a new mark of 1:52.1 in a smashing Big M debut, now merits the class hike with another inside draw
4-Deltasun A – Rallied to upset JL Cruze & Warrior One two starts back, then used hard over an off track, has missed 22 days, but draws better to rebound
8-Warrior One – Set a rated pace & yielded to the pocket-sitting JL Cruze last out, took a mark of 1:51.4 back on 11-6, draws a more demanding post, but looms large when able to take control
RACE 10
7-Bracken Storm A – Twice beaten favorite on a long form spree, forced wide chasing a 1:48.4 Ruthless Hanover last time, just missed in :26.4 before that & now gets some class relief
2-Franco Totem N – 1:49.3 winner when he suddenly got aggressive three starts back, bounced back with a decent fourth to a raging Ana Afreet N last time, gets some class relief & lands post two again
5-Heza Real Diamond – 12-time winner this season sports that scintillating 1:48.4 blowout three starts back, then was right there from post nine, a solid third from post eight in the fog & draws better here
RACE 11
1-Love The Blues N – Was on a roll before early breaks in consecutive starts forced a qualifier & & that was pretty solid, now drops a notch & lands the rail
5-Tymal Peacemaker – Shows two competitive lines from tougher posts & against better here recently, the latest against the monstrous Let It Ride N, returns to the mile track with a big chance to get aggressive
8-B Stoney – Has twice landed on the fringes a class above this, 4YO moves outside, but drops for his key third start off the bench for Team Cullipher & has some upside
RACE 12
6-Saying Grace N – Uncorked some serious speed two starts back, 1:49.4 performer here this season continues to tumble down the class ladder for Team Cullipher
5-Chaser Hanover – Towered up late to hit the board two starts back, has a chance to snap his 0 for 14 this season with a significant class drop
10-Ocean Colony – The Ocean is a major horse-for-the-course coming off several no-chance trips, lands outside here, but gets his fourth consecutive class drop
RACE 13
1-Icingon De Cupcake – Moves all the way inside a wide-open field off a real slow start from post ten, remains at a winning level & has a chance to stalk n pop
6-Inukchuk Chuck – Pretty consistent Yonkers invader just missed fresh off the claim with a solid rally, a similar strategy is likely to take advantage of our longer stretch
10-Chiplosive – Used another class drop to get aggressive & crushed weaker from post eight, back outside, but this 1:52.4 winner here this season has something to build on
RACE 14
3-So So De Vie – Almost paid off with a patient drive off a fast pace last out, 3YO draws a bit better in career form & has a big chance to work out another smooth trip
2-Century Ferrari – Simply used too hard to clear the lead from post seven in :54.4 & paid the price last time, well-rated winner before that now moves inside
6-Forevernalways – Stormed home to beat these in :27.3 two starts back, back from Freehold for his second try off the claim & looms large
RACE 15
3-Rockaholic – Languished at the back from post nine last out, nosed out with a crisp rally before that, now a major contender from an inside post & long overdue
8-Grandpa Don – Two recent wins came with sterling rallies from far back at this TM level, stuck outside, but gets Andrew McCarthy to time his late move just right
4-Atomic Rei – Went all the way with a well-rated effort @ Freehold off a sick scratch, 1:53.4 winner @ The Big M this season draws inside here to be forwardly placed
