RACE 1

8-Vodka On The Beach – Stablemate to the red-hot Rebel Rouser fresh off a sparkling 3YO debut upset, moves outside but continues to make up for lost time & his barn can do no wrong

 

1-American World – American Ideal offspring from the family of Worldly Beauty makes his long-awaited 4YO debut, second qualifier worth noting & lands the rail & inside the main contenders

 

9-Sports Legend – Just one for 22, but flashed some talent @ Mohawk, qualified well for his new high percentage barn & gets Gingras to help overcome post nine

 

RACE 2

3-Alta Shelby N – NZ bred with a mark of 1:50.3 here last season off to a slow start from post ten & had no-chance in his return here, draws better to stalk the speed & kick home for the upset 

 

7-Rebel Rouser – Made a rousing return to The Big M with an emphatic wire-to-wire & took a sparkling new mark of 1:51.4 in the process, looks nearly impossible to go against

 

5-Art Dancer – Rock solid runner up to Rebel Rouser last week & actually beat him by a head back on 2-9, may have to take away control if he has any shot of turning the tables

 

RACE 3

5-Fordham Sixty Two – Just two for 29, but this Burke trainee has had two tighteners, both tough trips, now drops to face a camera-shy bottom level condition field, but certainly no slam dunk

 

4-In Rock We Trust – Lightly-raced 5YO actually won here in the slop last season, raced well in the comebacker for Irish Joe & draws well against a highly beatable bunch

 

6-Dancing Rusty – Fringe player in $10,000 claiming wars recently, 11YO has had a few starts regain form since the early February sick scratch & looks eligible for an upset rally

 

RACE 4

6-Awesomeness – Somehow caught first over from the rail when he took another class drop last week, too much back class to ignore & could blow these away with the right set up

 

10-Incredible Shark – Tangling & competitive with much better this season, gets another class drop, switches to the Bionic Man & that may be enough to overcome post ten

 

1-Century Churchill – Finally moves inside off a no-chance mile from post nine, 1:50.3 winner at The Big M last season has been knocking on the door

 

RACE 5

5-Four Staces – Steamrolled to an eye-catching 1:51.4 romp two starts back, another strong finish to hit the board last week, continues on a form spree in a serious handicapping challenge here

 

8-Spaghetti Eddie – Steady Eddie came up a tad shy in a salty 1:51.4 mile last week, fresh Nick Surick claim draws a tough post, but his tactical speed can put him in play

 

2-Sports Vision – Kicked home a solid second to CC Big Boy Sam & claimed last week, perfect trip winner on 2-16 draws inside again & strong in the win column last year

 

RACE 6

4-Solo Story – Just missed by a nose to the razor sharp Urban Renewal two starts back, then had no answer for the standout repeater Rootin Tootin last week, this a prime spot to rebound 

 

2-Mcerlean – Classy 10YO wasn’t heard from in his switch to the mile track last week, but now drops into a field with a combined four wins this season & draws inside for a smooth trip

 

7-Mr Carrotts – Bet down to 6-1, suddenly got aggressive & was able to turn it around in a big way with one of the best miles of his career last week, steps back up in a similar wide-open field

 

RACE 7

2-Mindtrip – Won three of four off the January Mixed Sale purchase, now a fresh claim for Dylan Davis off a career best 1:50 & looks to follow in the footsteps of stablemate Castle Flight

 

9-Beckham’s Z Tam – Breeders Crown champ stormed home off the hot pace to just miss in his 1:49.4 Big M debut last week, classy & talented 5YO continues to ramp it up here

 

5-K Ryan Bluechip – Twice a Preferred winner this season, impressive first over two starts back, beaten favorite first over two weeks ago, draws a bit better & always a threat 

 

RACE 8

5-Billy Badger N – NZ import forced wide & thundered home in :54.4 to hit the board in a sparkling US debut on Lasix as the beaten favorite, naturally expecting more in the follow up

 

3-Somebaddude – The Dude has done very little wrong here this season, responded to a perfect drive by Marcus Miller to upset last week & rewarded with an improved post

 

1-Dubious Claim – Crush down to 2-5 despite stepping back up in class & blew them away just a fifth off his lifetime mark, hot horse draws the rail to kick off a strong Jeff Cullipher entry

 

RACE 9

2-Clouseau Hanover – 11-time winner last season got cooked first over from post ten last week, gradually regaining his best form, gets some class relief & moves inside 

 

1-Shamballa – The classy US Pacing Championship winner put up a fierce fight despite a brutal first over last week, switches to Corey Callahan for his third try off the bench & lands the pole

 

3-Soho Wallstreet A – Sparked his winning form with a class drop n pop two starts back, then put forth a gallant effort from post ten, big threat with the much better draw here

 

RACE 10

6-Rootin Tootin – Took matters into his own hands to repeat with authority after holding on in a career best 1:50.3 two starts back, improving 4YO continues his ascent up the class ladder

 

9-New Talent – Has been ultra competitive in the Preferred week-after-week, yet faded to sixth last week, now gets some class relief, tackles post ten & switches to Tetrick, tough call

 

1-Ever Again – Squeaked out the upset with a super drive by Corey Callahan last week & lands the rail, credit trainer Mike Watson as both halves of his entry are on a roll & draw inside

 

RACE 11

1-Twomacsoneshadow – Recent Mike Watson claim with a game line two starts back @ Yonkers, not sure where he fits here, but his numbers are solid & he may be worth a swing from the rail

 

2-Dull Roar – Gave it another good try from post ten last week, class & post relief, trip potential & persistence may spell overdue win

 

5-JK Will Power – It was game over early after a really slow start from post nine last week, drops back down to the level of the well-driven score as the heavy favorite two starts back

 

 

RACE 12

8-Stonedust – Twice beaten favorite was a close fourth against N/W $8,500 stock two starts back, gets another shot at a weaker N/W $5,000 field with a switch to Tetrick dealing with post eight

 

1-Rockinwiththebest – 1:51.3 winner here last season finished an even fourth in his return to The Big M, yet now moves inside to face a very soft version of N/W $5,000

 

2-Late Night Joke – Burke-tuned 9YO has missed a few months, not much in the qualifier here, but has the class & inside post to show up this wide-open field

 

RACE 13

10-Letjimmytakeover – Steady closer perked up with a solid third in :26.3 chasing the red-hot Rootin Tootin, draws outside, but drops to the bottom condition rung

 

2-Jacksrluckytoo – Missed a few weeks off an impossible trip, second to standout Hoo Nien A two starts back, class & post relief make him the one to beat for Team Harmon

 

1-Bud Bay – Moves inside fresh off a lively narrow loss two weeks ago, 0 for his last 24, but responding to aggressive Gingras handling at this bottom level
