RACE 1

7-Dawson Springs – Out of sheer respect for Nifty Norman’s prowess with trotters, flashed something late in his debut for his new barn & needed the race after missing a month

4-Montalbano Bi – Team Harmon horse-for-the-course stalwart rallied to beat a similar modest field two starts back & figures to be within closer striking range from an improved this week

9-Con Air Hall – Just one for his last 37 & stuck outside again, yet did put together a pretty solid back half to pick minor spoils last week

RACE 2

2-Reilly K – Late-blooming Donato Hanover filly given time to mature, won her qualifier here with apparent ease & lands the rail in a real soft field, inexperience is the only knock

1-Hammer Creek – One for 28, but has been consistently close, twice second to standout Haveoneforme, hammered with post eight, but off a big effort from post seven last week

9-Storming Mist – Drew a line through the remainder & this 4YO comes off a much-improved performance from post eight, now the dilemma is the far outside draw

RACE 3

5-Clear Idea – Her barn perked up with two wins last Saturday, this mare has been tangling as high as the Open @ Yonkers, ships into an easier spot & style suits the longer stretch here

4-Shesjustadelight N – Unleashed a delightful Big M debut last week, right there pacing strong in blanket photo with another excellent Mitchell Cushing drive & draws well again

6-You Should Be Here – Lightly-raced & improving 5YO flaunted sharp speed in the mile of her life last week, a gutsy third to Rockin Praline before that, so she can handle the class hike

RACE 4

4-Hammer Time – Sat last glued to the cones & loaded with trot turning for home, then forced to angle widest & flew home for the show deadheat, just missed before that & draws better

8-Bizet – 4YO rebounded when he was allowed to steal another one last week, moves outside, but remains the one to beat in career form since the $60,000 January Sale purchase

1-Final Dream – Seemed to be stung by being used for a brief early lead, then drifted & flattened fifth last out, nice second before that with a stronger :27.4, moves inside for a smooth start

RACE 5

7-Rather Swell – Capitalized on a perfect second over trip from post eight to score a mild upset last week, claimed again by a high percentage barn & has the class & form to keep it going

3-Magnum Mike – Beaten chalk made a rare miscue due to broken equipment, runner up to a 1:51.1 standout before that, gets post three again to atone

2-Ideal Candidate – Grinded gamely to a late lead & held third fresh off the claim, 13YO draws inside again for his second start off the claim & remains on a form spree

RACE 6

2-Rubber Duck – The Duck has made some noise in this condition recently, fresh off a solid third deadheat last week, finally moves inside, owns some back class & his barn can do no wrong

6-Pappy Go Go – A little disappointed with his narrow loss last week as he was well rated, but now he drops again & could be on the verge, only needs the right trip

1-Zlatan – Back on the rail after having dead aim & fading to sixth last week, now drops a notch for his fourth start since the January sick scratch

RACE 7

6-Battle Mage – Kadabra mare with a history here, trainer Eric Ell produced The King JL Cruze, racing well against top company @ Dover Downs & this looks like a tailor made spot

1A-Tag Up And Go – Consistent Team Harmon 9YO on the board in five of six this season, fresh off a narrow loss to Rock Of Cashel, but was roughed gaited at the wire last week

4-Rock Of Cashel – Sparked his form with an easy, confidence-boosting romp two starts back, came right back with same perfect trip as the heavy favorite & lands the rail

RACE 8

5-Bay Rum – Compromised by another tardy beginning from post three & rather slow pace, now gets the class drop he needs & faces a field begging to be beaten

4-Ohio Larry – Was noticeably better in his second start off the latest claim, pacing a strong back half after a slow start, draws well to carve out an ideal stalking trip in a wide-open field

6-CC Big Boy Sam – The Big Boy is very steady, yet can’t quite push it across, but another trainer claimed him for himself, that’s significant & there are no standouts in this affair

RACE 9

3-Miss Ruby – This mare has been sneaky good against some superior company so far this season, finished well for minor spoils last week, gets further class relief & draws well

6-Miami – Fresh Burke trainee almost went all the way in a well-rated comebacker & debut here last week, bumped up a notch with a few drop downs to deal with

5-Cash For Gold – Here’s another drop down candidate, go back to his closing efforts in late January & early February, just two for his last 32, but eligible for a wake up call

RACE 10

4-Phyllis Jean – Been very competitive against better mares @ Yonkers recently, knows her way around this oval, strong in the win column & lands an inside post

3-Followthewind N – Strong back half from an impossible spot last week, just one for her last 27, but dropping dangerously & draws more favorably in a field ripe for the taking

6-Bettor Chill Out – Needed last week’s no-chance mile after missing a few weeks, may be quietly ramping up her game, owns a mark of 1;51.3 here & has some back class

RACE 11

2-Carson Hill – Go back to the solid qualifier chasing Zlatan on a frigid 18-degree night, returns to the mile track at a greatly reduced level & draws inside for prolific trotting barn Team Harmon

5-Celebrity Lover – Finished a solid third from post seven with trot at both ends last week, parked first over & held for a show deadheat before that, fresh midpack stalking threat here

4-Big Expense – Paid the price for an expected slow start from post ten last week, gets another shot at this bottom level from a much better post, but his 3 for 37 record is a concern

RACE 12

5-Pennant Seelster – Acclimated & hinting of breaking through here, second by a neck to Bizet three starts back, a game third two weeks ago, big chance to set up his big kick

7-Dover Dony – Stepped up to this N/W 3 level & just missed by a nose with a late surge, revived

& versatile 4YO remains a major threat despite an outside draw

4-Chief Justice – Burke trainee made another break when setting up a rally last out, goes back to Yannick Gingras, figures to be tighter now & may try to steal this one

RACE 13

8-Talbot Chanel – Hasn’t been heard from since her solid third in the slop back on 12-28, one for her last 20 + draws outside, yet plummets to the basement for Team Burke

4-Grubich Girl – Battled back to win her Team Orange Crush debut @ Freehold, makes her second start in seven months & gets an inside draw in a blank bottom level field

7-Chillin It De Vie – Fairly competitive against N/W $8,500 company here this season, returns to face a weak bottom level field & could end a long drought
